From us
90-day workmanship warranty
If the film peels, lifts at the edges, bubbles, creases, gaps, or has dirt trapped under it because of the installation, we redo the whole window free, film and labor included.
From Flexfilm
Lifetime limited film warranty
For as long as you own the vehicle, Flexfilm covers the film itself against fading, color change, peeling, cracking, adhesive failure and delamination. We register your warranty for you within 30 days. Flexfilm supplies the replacement film. After the first 90 days, labor to install it is charged at our standard rate.
The first 30 days
A light haze or small water pockets for up to 30 days is normal curing, not a defect. Keep windows up for 3 to 5 days, don't press on water pockets, and wait 30 days before cleaning the inside of the glass with an ammonia-free cleaner.
Making a claim
Text photos and your work order number to (626) 417-7299. We reply within 2 business days and schedule covered repairs within 7 days, at your location. For film claims, we inspect the window and file the Flexfilm claim for you.
Your remedy is repair or redo of the affected window, or a refund for that window if we can't repair it. You may also have other rights under California law.
Not covered
- Scratches from seat belts, rings, keys, pets or cargo
- Ammonia cleaners, abrasive pads, or rolling windows down too early
- Broken or replaced glass, accidents, or damage by others
- Damage noted before the install, and defroster lines damaged during old-tint removal
- Any shade that doesn't meet California law, including darker front windows and full windshield film
- Film altered or removed by anyone else
Neither warranty is transferable.
